Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Welkora("we", "us") provides booking pages and product catalogs for independent service businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers both vendors who create Welkoraaccounts and clients who book or browse through a vendor's public page.

What we collect

Vendors: your name, email address, and profile photo from Google when you sign in; your business details (business name, location, bio, services, prices, availability, photos, payment instructions) that you add yourself.

Clients: when you book with a vendor we collect the details you enter — your name, email address and/or phone number, optional notes and address (for home-service bookings), and, where the vendor requires a deposit, the payment receipt image you upload.

We also collect standard technical data (IP address, device and browser information) and product analytics that help us keep the service secure and improve it.

How we use it

To operate bookings between clients and vendors: showing the vendor your booking details, sending booking confirmation and cancellation emails, and letting vendors verify deposit payments. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client contact details for marketing.

Who can see your information

A client's booking details are visible to the vendor they booked with. Payment receipt images are stored privately and are accessible only to that vendor through their dashboard. A vendor's public page shows only the information they choose to publish (never their email or private settings).

We rely on trusted processors to run the service — including Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (transactional email), and PostHog (analytics) — each bound by their own data-protection commitments.

Retention and deletion

Booking records are kept so vendors have an accurate history of their business.

Vendorscan delete their account at any time from Settings → Account. Your public page goes offline immediately. Everything else — your bookings and the client details in them, your services, products and photos, and your login — is permanently deleted 30 days later. You can cancel inside those 30 days; after that it cannot be recovered by you or by us.

Clients do not have accounts, so if you want the details from a booking corrected or deleted, contact us at hello@welkora.com or ask the vendor you booked with. We act on requests in line with the data-protection law that applies to you — including the Nigeria Data Protection Act for people in Nigeria, and the UK/EU GDPR where it applies.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is restricted by row-level security and role-based checks; payment receipts live in private storage accessible only via short-lived, signed links.
